Lecturer in Roman Art and Archaeology is the author of Water Culture in Roman Society (2018) and co-editor of What's New in Roman Greece? (2018) and The Cambridge Companion to Ancient Athens (forthcoming). His research focuses on Roman fountains and urbanism, as well as on topics such as Roman identity in art (especially painting and mosaics), domestic religion, and the topography of ancient Athens and Rome. He has excavated at sites throughout Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
