The Francis Lazenby Travelling Fellowship awards up to $4000 to one or more Classics majors for study abroad or for Greek and/or Latin language programs either during the academic year or the summer.
The Anne Marye Owen Prize in Latin is presented annually to one or more outstanding first-year students in 3000-level Latin or above during the fall semester and includes a cash prize.
The Anne Marye Owen Prize in Greek is presented annually to the best student in Elementary Greek (1010-1020) and includes a cash prize.
The Anne Marye Owen Prize in Classics is awarded on occasion to a distinguished graduating major.
The J.P. Elder Award is given each year to an outstanding graduating major in Classics.
The Marian Stocker Award is presented at the graduation ceremony to a deserving Classics major about to embark on a career in high-school teaching of Latin.
