What are you Doing Now: I did not pursue the typical path after graduation; however, I believe that my caacity for critical thinking and intellectual curiosity, learned/honed through the rigorous Classics major, have allowed me to excel in a non-traditional career (for a Classics major).

Peter Smith is a Managing Director at EQT focusing on infrastructure investments. Prior to joining EQT, Mr. Smith was a Senior Vice President at Brookfield in Infrastructure. Mr. Smith held previous roles at EIG Global Energy Partners, Goldman Sachs, and Wells Fargo. He graduated from The University of Virginia with a Bachelors in Classics and Economics and from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University with a Masters of Management Studies..
