Major: Politics in Government & Classics in Latin

Why Classics: Four years of Ancient Greek and six years of Latin in middle/high school prompted my interest in a Classics Major. I genuinely love the Latin language and have so enjoyed complementing my Government major with Classics. The ability to slow down, appreciating the art and complexity of poetry and prose line by line, has been a true privilege. Next up, I’m headed to Washington D.C. in the world of policy and consulting. I hope to bring what I’ve learned as a Classics Major, to slow down and think first, aid my decisions second.
