Major: Classics (Greek & Latin)

Why Classics: The classics have always been a source of inspiration for me. Ever since I was a young child, visiting archeological sites and museums around the world, I was always entranced by the history and world of my ancestors’ past. Learning about the turbulent Roman and Greek eras alongside reading the greatest works of Western civilization is a true privilege. It is reliving the world of the statesman Pericles, counseling and connecting with the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius or mourning over the destruction of the Temple with Jewish historian, Josephus Flavius. Classics is not my passion, but rather my logos, my destiny and chosen journey. Perhaps, it is actually this journey that chose me.
