Major: Classics (Greek & Latin) & History

Why Classics: There are so many reasons I chose this major it's hard to fit into a quick summary. However, one of the biggest reasons is that I have always been interested in the human condition. By learning about the ancient Romans and Greeks, I am able to better understand humanity both historically and in the modern day. My passion for languages also shines through my decision, as I have a deep desire to learn many in my lifetime. The field of Classics offers me an interdisciplinary education that touches many different fields and profoundly impacts the way that I think about things, all while priming my brain for future language learning and critical thinking. I've explored many different fields of study, and none have felt so uniquely impactful as Classics.
