Major: Classics (Greek and Latin Concentration)

Why Classics: My love of the classics first germinated when I found D'Aulaires Book of Greek Myths in first grade, and ever since then has captivated my imagination. At UVA the study of ancient authors and their contexts has deepened my capacity to understand literature, history, and rhetoric, and I believe that the study of antiquity provides the modern scholar with a unique perspective on the world around us.
